Origin

Parabable was founded in 2026 by three operators who had spent years building intelligent systems for different domains. Matt Tyler works across the Parzival Partners portfolio on commercial strategy and product. Tom Bennett is a career technologist — Bankers Trust risk systems, cognitive architecture for autonomous defence systems, advisory roles with the United Nations and military organisations. Ollie drives commercial operations across the portfolio.

The architectural insight that became Parabable emerged from observing the gap between how organisations made consequential decisions and the tools available to help them. Committee meetings, spreadsheet models, one-off studies, and post-deployment monitoring produced decisions that were defensible in review but unreliable when they met reality. The research question — could a cognitive architecture represent the behaviours of populations at sufficient realism to rehearse a decision — produced, over time, the answer that became Parabable's platform.

Reason for being

Organisations lose enormous value to decisions that would have been different had they been testable first. A branch closure that triggered a deposit run. A fraud rule that flagged 40% false positives. A policy that shifted behaviour in ways nobody modelled. A product launched into a market segment that would not buy it. A model deployed into conditions it was never evaluated against.

The cost sits on balance sheets as provisions, writedowns, regulatory fines, customer churn, political blowback.

None of these decisions were made carelessly. They were made with the best available evidence at the time. The evidence was not enough, because no tool existed that could simulate the decision at sufficient realism to surface the risks before they materialised.

Parabable exists because that tool is now possible. Large language models make it possible for synthetic agents to behave realistically. Graph databases make it possible to represent organisational topology structurally. Causal reasoning makes it possible to explain why outcomes occur. Multi-agent simulation at scale makes it possible to observe emergence. The pieces exist. Parabable is the platform that assembles them for the decision-maker who needs them.

Leadership

The team is small and deliberately so.

The platform is the product, not the headcount.

Matt Tyler

Founder

Commercial strategy and product across the Parzival Partners portfolio. Drives Parabable's commercial mandate and customer relationships.

Ollie

Founder

Commercial operations across the portfolio. Manages delivery, partnerships, and the operational mechanics of bringing cognitive simulation to market.

Tom Bennett

Founder, Chief Architect

Led the cognitive architecture design. Previously built the Bankers Trust risk and trading system deployed across Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse, and the four largest Japanese banks. AI consultant to the United Nations and global military organisations.

Parzival Partners

Parabable is a Parzival Partners portfolio company. Parzival Partners is a UK-based operating partnership. Parabable operates independently, with its own commercial mandate, leadership, and IP estate.

The relationship is disclosed in all investor-facing and commercial materials. Transparency about the corporate structure is a positive signal, not a liability.

Headquartered in the United Kingdom

Parabable Ltd is a UK-registered company. We serve organisations globally. Deployment models accommodate data residency requirements for any jurisdiction.

Simulate before you commit.

We work with organisations whose decisions are consequential enough to rehearse.
