The platform is the product, not the headcount. We hire when the work demands it, not before. When we hire, we hire for specific capability that the existing team cannot cover.
How we think about hiring
Parabable is building the cognitive simulation platform for consequential decisions. That requires deep technical capability, institutional credibility, and commercial discipline. It does not require a large team.
Every person at Parabable works directly on the platform, directly with customers, or directly on the research that feeds the platform. There are no layers between the work and the people who do it.
We are based in the United Kingdom. We work with a distributed model where the work requires it.
Roles we will hire for
No positions are open at this time. When we hire, these are the capabilities we will need.
Cognitive systems engineer
Design and implementation of the cognitive engines that drive agent behaviour. Requires deep experience with multi-agent systems, causal inference, or computational cognitive science.
Platform engineer
Infrastructure, deployment, and scaling of the simulation platform across cloud and on-premises environments. Requires experience with institutional-grade platform engineering.
Enterprise customer engineer
Technical engagement with enterprise and government customers. Scoping, integration, and ongoing collaboration. Requires both technical depth and the ability to work directly with senior decision-makers.
Research scientist
Extending the cognitive architecture. Publishing where appropriate. Maintaining the research edge that keeps Parabable's platform ahead of the field. Requires a publication record in a relevant discipline.
